Im about to make a new box for 2 12"S, But im unsure of what design i want to use.. i have two ideas. Facing the front seats, Like:

Or Upfiring at the roof.

Somewhat like that.. Except no port.. This will be a sealed box with each chamber about 1 Cubic foot

This is going in an extended cab dakota, also, im trying to figure out how to somewhat incorporate the amp into the box, JBL 600.1, but have the controls accessible without having to move the box too much. The 2 subs im going to be mounting are 04 12" Kicker Comp Vrs.

Any pics or feedback would be appericated.

yeah in a small truck i would have them firing up or at the back of the front seats what you can do is set it up one way see how you like it and then just set it so its firing up and see which you like better

Cause amps have small parts inside that might come loose if subjected to heavy repeated pounding.

I wouldn't do it and I build very strong boxes that don't flex.
