sub has one preout wire?

i got a new deck and on the back it has the sub preout but it is only one wire it's not the usual red and white plug just a single black how do i hook this up to my amp do i need a Y adapter

If it was me, Id run a HT Sub cable and put the splitter at the end near the amp.

I would think it would be easier to route, especially behind the HU. In my car, its pretty cramped back there. I had trouble getting my 4-channel set out, and I still have to run another for subs.
