Is Ported or Sealed better

Depends on the subs, your listening habits and several other variables.

what is the difference?

Ported enclosures, in general, are louder than sealed. Sealed enclosures, in general, sound "cleaner" than ported.

I will openely say that I gave you a half-assed answer. If you need to know more precise information, there's a ton of documentation on the subject...

Thanks, I think I'll go with the sealed because I like my sound quality.
