Sub Box Question

Hello.. I found some info.. About a woofer doesnt matter,it says that the box should be and i quote

''enclosure volume 3 1 / 2 cu.ft''

I am from Serbia,and i dont know much about US measures,can someone translate me this? How many LITARS is this?

Does enclosure mean CLOSED BOX,not br not bp,but compressed?

I just checked out that sub at the JBL site and is sealed box recomendation is 6.5 cubic feet and ported is over 11 cubes,, so the smaller box will be 184 liters

odd but if it says on the sub its self,it must be acurate.i would say that the box they are talking about is the smallest seald box recomended but im not sure

Contact JBL directly and ask them. Its a pretty old model.

Yes its the smallest one.. OMG.. If i need 11 cu for a perfect br box.. Than the box will cost me more than the sub :S Its gonna take my whole trunk and more..
