Sub Box Problem

I have a Mtx MZS1204 sub in a sealed box at 1.25 ft3 that Mtx recomends.Is it possible to port this box or should I just stick with sealed.Right now as it is it sounds like it echos and kind of hollow and a bit boomy,would polyfill help?

It echoes?

Poly fill might make it more boomy by slowing down the back wave effectivley tricking the speaker into thinking it is in a propper enclosure.

1. What kind of power are you running?

2. too much bass boost can make the notes overhang like that and sound liek slop.

RMS Power (at 14.4V THD+N, 20Hz-200Hz)

Per channel into 4 ohms: 500W x 1 (0.08% THD)

Per channel into 2 ohms: 800W x 1
