Sub and port placement.

I'm replacing the back seat of my subi with either an xcon 18 or a dp 21 depending on my mood the day I order. Being that I have only ever had trunk cars i'm not sure what would yield the best results. Should i go with sub up and ports towards the front or sub and ports facing the front?

Cool thanks guy's. I have decided to go with the xcon I cant wait till payday so i can get it coming.
