stupidity hurts me

You were also the same person that blamed the your PXA-H800's faulty firmware and decided you were going to re-write it...
I never said it was faulty, I said it was confusing to me. The documentation, I tried to read it but it kept tangenting off into things I don't have or care about, and I got lost. Plus it tries to address both the RUX controller and the WinXP program at the same time! VERY confusing. But I've never actually gotten in yet with the WinXP program, so I don't have any direct experience with it, just trying to read the docs. And the RUX controller is just as money grab by Alpine and part of the reasons I will never buy another Alpine product, ever! I am sorry to say, they complicated themselves right out of my wallet!

And I really don't CARE if "everyone else gets it" especially because your "everyone" is fallacious!

It was confusing yet you know enough to re-write the firmware and to design it to do things properly. Need I say more?

The term "everyone" means that the majority of the people who buy a H800 know how to use one and if they dont are smart enough to figure it out. Its sad that you dont believe that. Just shows what most of us already know.

Population analysis is far more complex than you are supposing. That's what I am saying.

And if I had the hardware specifications for the PXA-H800 I could write firmware that would present the hardware capabilities in a far more understandable way than Alpine did, I''ll betcha! Like calling things what they are or do is always far more understandable than what cutsie proprietary way "every" manufacturer seems to want to do, to try and mystify their product as being "much better", etc. Wrapping functionality in artsie crap may have made Steve Jobs rich, but NOT because it's so much better, just that most people can't understand real functionality, detailed! Don't want to either because trying to understand the real deal makes them feel stupid because they are! Shields people from the real hardware too, "keeping them safe" (and dumb and comfortable.)

Exactly!! You may have just finally and inadvertently figured out your problem.(and dumb and comfortable.)

I'm at a point in my life where I can PAY OTHERS for the work I do not want to do. like when I get my large inheritance I'm not only buying my house (the one I've rented for almost 2.5 years) cash, I'm also taking my Leaf (bought cash) to JML and let them "do their majic" on her, and pay for it in cash too. And "her" name is INF-MPG, the Leaf, 100% electric!! ZERO gasoline burned!

Envious? Understandable.

Turns out the "dirty f**king hippies were RIGHT"! :)

No, because you don't know how. We're not dumb, we all know why.

You literally just said you were confused by the terminology and in the same breathe said you could make it easier. How can you do that if you dont understand it?

Interestingly enough most audio manufacturers, especially at a high end level all use the same terminology. If your confused by words like cross over, slope, low pass filter, high pass filter, etc. we cannot help you.

Its funny you have so many degrees and are so smart, but cant afford anything in cash until you get that inheritance.

thank god daddy wasn't a stupid do nothing like you and now you can reap the benefits of his death. you must be so proud.
I am fantastically proud and grateful towards my Father, and appreciate greatly all he has done for me and others during his 99 year life. He did more GOOD during his life than you may ever even HOPE to do!

I did, I had to. In March of 2015 I became intolerable even with myself. I'm talking about severe sleep disturbances and 100% real feeling Christian-based religious epiphanies even though I'm an atheist, stuff like that. IOW it began to interfere more severely with my entire existence and abilities to function. I wished I could have died and understood greatly how much my mother must've felt before killing herself in 1982. Manic Depression it was called back then and her's took a bad depressive turn. Consequently because of her death I KNEW ******* was right off the table! So I did what many with no health insurance do, went to the ER. And that's where I was diagnosed Bipolar.

Thumbs up

Don't think I'm knocking psychological disorders or looking down on people who have them. I also haven't studied the hell out of them because I despise them. They are actually quite intriguing to me, and it always pays to be informed so you can properly aid people when neccessary. Don't want you to get the wrong impression. Glad you did the right thing and sought help.

Only advising there may be more to it and might do better in social life if looked into things a little deeper. If you are goods with it, then no issue.

Yeah, my exacerbation of my Bipolar Disorder was due at least in part from social isolation. It came on right after a very cold late Winter, and at first I thought of "cabin fever" which is well known but not really a well evidenced or studied aberrant condition.
