Stupid question....

My SUV is currently out of commission and I had a stupid thought... I wonder if my home theater receiver would put out enough power to make my AB TNT 15 move even a little. It just feels a shame for it not to be used right now in my brick of a vehicle.

Just curious because I replaced the subs in my cerwin vega at-12 floor speakers with some old pioneers I had laying around and they work like a dream even running off an old JVC receiver from the 90s lol

Do it

Even a little bass in the home theater makes a big difference

My friend had a L7 8" for years and it wasn't loud but did make a big difference with a budget surround sound

I already have a sub in my home theater I was just curious if my TNT 15 would be any louder.

Yeah... check this link out. It shows the power handling of that tweeter. I'd just match the power no matter if you use the crossovers or not...

LOL - mine was a higher end model too - iirc deh-9300. Low mileage too, it was sitting around for year collecting dust.

One or two, they are still subwoofer outs and are mono summed signals from both left and right. Even the 2 RCA subwoofer pre-outs on the 2nd one...
