Depending on the amp. Does distortion increase as you go from 4ohm to 2ohm to 1ohm? All @ the same volume. Gain settings, ect.

Also when I go from these different ohm levels. Does THD also change?

I'm trying to learn much crap as possible.

you will have to change the gain some going to lower ohms due to power increase, but it all depends on the amp for distortion. From what I've seen (not saying this is true for everything) gonig to lower ohms the THD rises.

Lowering the impedence load will almost always result in an increase in THD. Whether or not that increase is audible depends on the amp. Also whether or not you have to adjust the gain will depend largely on the amp as well. Technically the gain should not have to be adjusted for a change in load, unless you are working with a JL. In reality, since so few amps are capable doubling their power into half the load you will have to dial the gain down a bit to reduce the rail voltage and keep the amp from clipping.
