I have a question about powering subwoofers.

If your amp is rated for 500 watts rms at 2 ohms and you put 2 subwoofers to it at the 2 ohm load. Will the amp send 500 watts rms to both subs or will it split the power and send 250 to both sides?

Any help is appreciated.
