Stuck in demo mode.......KDC-X879

Just installed a Kenwood Excelon 879 in my ride and can't get it off demo mode. I have tried pushing the #5 button and reset at the same time like the manual says, but it keeps coming back to demo...I'm starting to get frustrated.........Please Help!!!

hold down 5 button and press reset while still holding down 5 button release the reset button. this will do it . let me know if it work. remember dont release 5 button
