Structural dependancy on rear deck

heh.
I am thinking about doing some rear deck work, but the problem is that if i do this work I will have to remove enough room for my two avalanche 15's, and i want to have 6-7 inches between them

so basically i'm looking at cutting out a shape that is round on each side, that is 15.5 inches from top (near the rear glass) to bottom (near the back seats) and round on the sides, where the largest portion of width is 38 inches.

would cutting out such a massive area of my rear deck make my car structurally instable?

also, the strut bars that are just under my rear deck, the purpose that they serve is to hold the trunk open when it is open, correct?

just wondering.

Yeah, if you cut that out and are hit on the side (T-Boned). Bad things will happen. Don't do it. And yes those are there to hold the trunk lid up

working his *** off

he's been summoned by syracuse circuit city in the huge assed mall they have there

you can tell it's taking it's toll on him because he's always pissy on the boards lately
