stripped wire connections

free the robots
the threads of the remote wire input have been stripped, not the screw threads or screw its self, just the plastic threads on the amps remote wire input. i thought about buying a slightly larger diameter screw but didt know if anyone had a idea or simple solution other than that.

 
yeah dont know why us amps would of gone with plastic. btw its a md21. only installed and taken out 2-3 times when changing setups around, and always careful not to strip anything. plastic ftl. and good call on the plastic splitting, going for only slightly larger screw or as close as i can get it.

the AVIC was a tad more complicated to wire not to mention stuffing it in a smallish stereo hole. thanks for advice.
