Drill it out a bit and use an extractor bit on an impact drill. Extractor and impact may take them out without drilling but I always like to drill first

Use a TORX bit! First you drill a hole one to two sizes smaller than the drilled hole at about 1/4 deep. Once that is done you place the bit with an extension (preferably 1/4" socket type) and place it on the drilled hole. With a ballpeen hammer burry the bit as vertical as you can in the drilled hole, avoiding any side to side movement so it will be forced in place. I've never tried it with a cordless drill but try it, use a 3/8" impact gun with a 1/4 adaptor and spin the buried bit on reverse as powerful as you can. Trick it has to be buried in place and the impact will jar it loose from the threads, so keep in mind not to loose grip with the drilled hole or it will spin in the hole and putting you back to step one. If all fails, try Helicoil.

Easy out is you best bet thee only like $10 bucks and are worth it. Can be picked up at any lowes or Home Depot

My suggestion was if you already have the tools I mentioned, if you don't then Easy Out might work in your favor.

What are removing? Their is another way that works grind two flat spots on each side of the screw and use vise grips to break them loose or try grinding a slot through the middle for a flat head screwdriver. If this fails continue ( if you dont mind it getting scratched up a bit) grinding the head completely off. The piece will slide off over the grinded studs with the piece gone the friction will be eased and a pair of pliers will easlily remove the remaing studs.

If you don't have any of the tools suggested. Just use a drill bit a little bigger than the head of the drill and car fully dell out the heads of the screws.
