Stripped Screw :S

how do u guys deal with this issue? im trying to remove the last screw on my subwoofer, and it got stripped like a mofo... have no idea how to get it out :S

drill it out with a bit.

x2, you have to drill it out, just be careful dont drill to far depending on where you are drilling

omg guys.. i think i have a SERIOUS problem,,, the screw is screwed in HARD.. i went to sears and grabbed the damaged screw remover set... and what happens is this.. i holding the drill with pressure, and the scre will just not move, the drill is working hard to get the screw out.. the drill is working.. but it wont even turn.. if i press the button harder or release some pressure to a certain point.. it just starts stripping the screw even more!!!

what the hell am i supposed to do now??? :S

You will probably have to drill it out, just be carefull when doing this.

what do u mean by drilling it out.. isnt this what ive been trying to do?

like im scared of trying anything new.. cuz the screw just keeps getting worse and worse..

When you drill something out, you get a regular drill bit and just drill right through the screw.

Yea, basically you're trying to break the thread off the head of the screw...that way it'll just pop out.
