I just posted this in another thread... it will give you an idea of how he did it. Also utilizing as much wood (MDF) as possible is best.

I have recently seen a guy use rope and then glassed over to give the enclosure strength and reduce and flexing.

His build can be seen here

 
Fiberglass loses strength across flat spaces. Cut patterns of 1/2 " MDF to make a sub floor then mold that. then screw the mold to the wood and build from there. The glass is real strong when curved. The wood also allows you to have it thick enough to mount down with good bolts and screws and the extra glass can be used to thicken the other areas.
