But the top Street scores are being done with Zs.

I know all the equipment being used in street classes and no one at finals last weekend was using Z's. Someone on my team has Z's and went to finals with his f motor 10's because the Z's weren't as efficient. Not saying that Z's can't get loud but with only getting between 4500-5k in Street A with one amp and then split that power between two sub isn't enough for the Z's. The Z's need at least 4500w each to be taken advantage of. For example one single Z 10" with 4500w is louder than a single F or G motor 10". But once you put two Z's with same power the F efficiency of motor takes over and is louder.

With power limitation the Z's aren't worth the extra money. Invest in 9500G's or f motors and recone them.

We might be using 7-10k amps but with the battery limitation you can only get so much power out of one battery. For example the Stetsom 7k2d/10k 12v will only get about 4800w out of a smaller battery like a odyssey 1700, 1750, nsb g2700. Then on a single group 31 battery like a odyssey / stinger 2150, nsb g3100 the stetsom 7k2d/10k get about 5300w. Then with two stetsom 7k2d's/10k's on a single odyssey / stinger, nsb g3100 you'll about 7k power.

Give it these amplifiers have a lot more potential power to be created but the battery is limiting the amps and there is only so much power you can get from one battery. To give you an idea if you add another nsb g3100 on the two 7k2d/10k's you'll get over 10k power. That's a big jump from 7k with just one battery. Hope this helps.

What about Ray Farmer is Street A?

That's who I was talking about. He ran his F motors. A single Z motor was loud as hell and was I think .5 db louder than a single f motor 10 but once he put two subs together the efficiency of the two f motors was .5db louder than the two Z motors. Also the z motors need a bigger box and bigger box that takes up more displacement isn't good for a crx. But he's not given up on the Z's yet. He's having them reconed to a lighter suspension to see if he can get them louder.

I heard that CRX is not very good in street A class when it has the rear seats.. its true?

well to clarify the Z woofer has be proven very effective and potent in Street application in Europe. Now I know people are going to say that they're using the Panda and yada yada but regardless of that they are still using that woffer.

Odds are that they either run the CS 12 or the Z..you'll hardly find them messing with the G series motor.. they're pretty crazy like that..
