ok crunch GP2250? it says it allows daisy chaining? so if it does that it would have the master/slave switch? either way i know i can link RCA's from one to the other and i jus plan on hookin each sub per channel in a 2ohm load(the amps are 2channel and 2ohm stable pre channel! so to get this right strappin means takin 2 amps makin one so in my case i would turn 2 1k's into 1 2k? is this over all better even though ill be gettin 2k watts either way? and would this draw more power off my batts?

You are talking about using the line out on the amp to feed signal to the other amp.This is NOT strapping.

To strap the amp you must physically connect the 2 amps together at the speaker terminals,and use the POS from each amp as the POS and NEG lead to the speaker.

Just using the RCA's to connect the amps is something different.

Your best to just run each amp to one speaker rather than strapping the 2 to make one amp.

You've been daisy chaing your amps, thats what you call it when you run RCA's from one amp to the next. Strapping them is different. And depending on the amp you either can strap it or not. Some amps can be strapped but where they might be 2 ohm stable when on their own they are only 4 ohm stable when strapped. Like some of the Rockford amps. The major reason for strapping them is to get the full power at a higher ohm load, like if you had a single 4 ohm coil you could strap the amps and get more power, or if you wanted to run four amps on a dual coil sub, 8 amps on a quad coil sub etc. I'm not sure about the spec on all the strappable amps, but I'm sure there's gotta be some out there that can be strapped to a lower load.

Normally its 2 ohm mininum impeadance for safely strappng amps.However for burps it varies from amp to amp.
