straight circ. saw cuts?

what can i do to get perfectly straight circ. saw cuts? i have a somewhat steady hand but never perfect. im gonna drop the $$$ on a table saw one day but for now i need to improvise.

any help?

try one of these plastic measuring/level tool, its like 11 bucks for the 48" one.

measur and mark both sides of the mdf then clamp it down and use it as a guide.

At a woodworking trade show that was here a couple years ago. Festool is a German company that has only one US distributor...and they basically only sell direct online, they haven't gone retail yet.

They make a bunch of stuff, but their circular saw is probably the coolest...the sander they make has a nice dust collection thing built into the drum, basically sucks the dust right off as you're sanding...
