Story on PPI

I know how good PPI is and the quality of their amps. They are obviously SQ first SPL second amps and can do it all. Where do they rank all-time as far as the quality of their Art Series, PC series and PCX series? What happened to their engineers after DEI took them over in 11/2001? Are they amps that will last 10+ years if not driven hard?
