Stop rear view mirror rattle (not shake, but the noise)

tighten the screw up that holds it onto the window. there is a little metal piece glued to the window and there is a screw that holds the mirror to this piece. tighten this screw. on most cars it is a phillips-head, but on GM cars it is a torx. T20 i believe

 
some silicone would probably help.
