Well if you had the stuff installed I wouldn't doubt that it was the people that installed the stuff. Either way get new stuff, don't let this get you down, it happens all too often sad to say.

some people have their alarms installed a good distance away from their house so their installers wont bother taking the long drive to steal their shit. maybe a consideration next time?

I think it will be no more system for me for a long time....I'm very sad its almost like the thieves stole my hobby. Im scared to install again because they come in and completely **** my car my car is full of water because of the storm they ripped my back seats off to get to the trunk they smashed my window and my dash and cut my visors open...

oh and my dad doesnt want me to install new stuff because he thinks the insurance will go up alot because of the repair of the interior and the stolen equip...

what do you think ?

same here mine was broken into like 2 weeks ago to steal a tv and my cd's wasnt that b ad but i didnt have a window for awhile i miss my cd player remote the most by far

hey siddyboo what part of canada where u from? cuz if u have a bestbuy near u...they can install a backup battery (sumthin like that) cuz when i went to bestbuy they said that if they cut the wire another alarm will sound from a backup..and that cant be shut off..sumthin like that...its only 80 cdn to do that

is their a way to make it unstealable like get a giant so that they cant take it out without diassembling it...im thinking of doing something like 4 12 kicker cvr's on a 2500 what do you think ? in a big box so they cant take it out..??

the best advice I can give is always keep a low profile with your stuff, never bump with the windows down (or at all) around your area, get a good alarm, and be aware and ready for these kinds of things, also, if you ever get a shady vibe from someone, never let them know where you live, don't get discouraged, pay the $1000 and get back to work, get an alarm with a back up battery like turnstylez was talking about, and get yourself a mossberg or something and be ready for the a$$holes to make there next attempt, bet they won't come around again after something like that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Get stuff that isn't worth stealing. Lots of older equipment that doesn't look as good still will function just as good.

Or- Rig it up so it's a ***** to steal- chains, bolts, screws- epoxy. Drive ****ing screws out the side of the box- so many they can't pick it up. Bolt you amp to the sheetmetal and shave the heads. Removeable faceplate HU chained into the back of your dash, and electrical tape a few nails in with they wire so they can't snip it as easy. use special clamps, hot glue or epoxy to hold the cable down so it can't be pulled out.

anyway, if you want it to be **** loud. just buy a bunch of the like $5 horns on ebay, wire them all up to your brain, so that if anything gets broken into, it will be so **** loud that 4 blocks around your car will hear it, and the thieves will go deaf for at least 30 seconds or so.
