Well yesterday (before IKE ruins the whole weekend) few of us decided to go out.And one of the guys lost his iphone in the club (probably slipped out of his pocket).

I kinda felt bad coz i suggested that club since bartender was the girl i knew.

Anyway we browsed the internet and didn't find certain info.

I wanted to see if anybody on the forum had definite information if that iphone can be located, and if yes then how?

It has a GPS locater. Call.

After we left the club in half an hour when i was trying to call his number it was already going straight to voicemail. Our guess is that phone is switched off, Sim card trashed, and phone will be sold.

So if he the phone is connected to itunes ATT will locate the phone.or they just might?

I ask coz there were so many stolen ipods and i seriously doubt even 25% of them was returned. And the onyl way to use ipod is to connect to itunes.

AT&T blacklist's imei's but it serves no purpose. They don't actually block the imei from being used on their network. Even if they did all the person has to do is put their sim in and the imei is never registered on the network to begin with...

It's a loss.
