Stock speakers in 01 ranger worth amplifying?

I wouldn't use an external amplifier on them if those are the only speakers you plan on using. Not worth the monetary investment.

However, if you are going to upgrade speakers in the near future to something from the aftermarket, there is nothing inherently wrong with amplifying stock speakers in the short term. I ran my old Soundstream Rubicon amp on my stock Mitsubishi speakers. They sounded way better. It was a very noticable improvment.

But I had the Infinity OEM system in there...

Ill give it a try, it wont be til tuesday or later cuz thats when the truck is officially mine, but ill put my JL Audio amp in there anf let yall know

I have the pioneer 6x8, lol i just got to get them out of my old truck but i was wondering if i could hold off before tearing off the door panels
