Ok my car has a small amplifer in the trunk to power the speakers and I wanted to know would i connect my LOC to the speaker wires before there amped or after? Would it even make a difference?

And how could i find out the preout voltage from the LOC?

You'll be fine with them hooked up to the speakers. I have mine hooked up to the speakers even though I have a factory amp and Audiocontrol told me that it was fine that way. The LOC just needs to steal a signal from one of them.

Like in the specifications for a hu its always lists its preout voltage. I was wondering what the voltage in the RCAs going to the amp would be.
