Okay everyone, so what can most cars with stock electrical setups push for a RMS Max? I've heard most stocks will push up to 1000rms. I have a 91' olds cutlass supreme. Can anyone anwser this question? Also, I'd like to know other cars as well.

Note: I am currently running a Power Acoustik A1800DB class d amplifier at 1 ohm rated 1400x1. What am I really pushing with my car?

watts = amps x voltage

Get you alternator tested at a local autozone. multiply that by the apx. voltage of you car when playing music loudly. the subtract about 200w (not sure on that one) for the cars own power usage. You should get a ballpark figure.

well my alt is rated 105 amps. amp pushes 1400 rms (and is a lil over rated) with efficency so.i am thihnking 1100 true power. whats my avg?
