stock alternator enough?

i dont know exactly how many watts your running but,

stressing your alt is NEVER a good idea, its always better to get proper electerical equipment then having to replace your alt because you were trying to push too many watts on stock.

For example what WOT is doing, i would never do that to my car.

i plan on running 3k+ on stock alt with some batts tho.

2200 never saw drops, but i think stock blazer alts are 110 or somethin.

105 amps if I remember correctly.

I ran an IA 20.1 at .5 ohms off of a stock alt, but I also had an NSB 125 in the back.

I would not suggest running anything over 1k off of just a stock alt for extended periods of time. Will completely screw it up.

i would recommend at least upgrand to a 150-200amp alternator. if not at least get a battery isolator and run multi batts. it will take a lot of the surge from the batts first before it takes from the main batt. and alternator.

Well it only goes into the 10's if Im idling, like 10.8 is the lowest Ive seen and it only happens on HARD hitting songs like tape and show stopper, give it some rpms and its back up there, its usually in the high 12's when I have it pretty loud crusing around

Used to have 2 batts, one fried on me.....
