Stiffening trunk lid

I'm forward and sealed off, but my rear deck and rear window moves so much my trunk lid does too. A few layers of deadener pretty much did it for me. But it still makes some noise on anything below 30hz.
For the rear window, I put two bathroom towels on the back of the lid. I have really dark tint so they can't be seen anyways but that shut all window rattles up.

Basically, I just rolled them up and jammed them in as far as I could.

Yea my window doesn't rattle, nor does the rear deck. But they both move so much my trunk lid rattles some. My ports are aimed right at the rear window

The biggest issue with trunk lids is the gap between the skin and framing.

If you can get deadener between them it will work. I could not so I used spray foam. Just have to use a little at a time because it will keep expanding for a while. And make a huge mess

I will be completely honest, I hate spray foam. I like the results but I hate using it.

That being said I did use it in every rear panel and yielded some pretty solid results.

Good call on the towels I just foamed the lid so once it dries I'll see if the towels work

My chrysler 300 trunk lid sounded like a was dragging cans down the road, was disgusting. 4 cans of the blue lid spray foam its solid as a rock!
I ended up using 4-5 cans of the yellow top spray foam and then deadened the lid with noico, way better than before!

It was probably all for nothing tho because come April I’m forward firing and sealing off the trunk lol

yup I eventually ended up foward firing, I was thinking about building a couple steel rod braces inside trunk, im happy with these results tho. **port is just primer atm***

I was gunna forward face and seal off the trunk completely but I'm not going that route at this point in time. My trunk trunk lid literally looks like it's gunna fly off when I'm wangin. I know I'm losing energy from this thing flexing so I'm looking for recommendations on what I can do to stiffen it! Tomorrow is my day off so I want to get started in the morning so I can spend the rest of the day with my kids. I'm thinking adding some weight somehow and then foaming the gaps and crevices of the lid.

Any other recommendations or pointers would be very helpful!
