For the same reason most (if not all) HMOs will not cover any sort of plastic surgery. Since the majority of prothetic eye wearers do so for nothing more than cosmetic reasons (myself included) it is considered an elective process and consequently they will not pay for it.

I tried not to read them all, they just piss me off and i cant keep up with that many people alone. Some of the disses are so retarded that i couldnt even get mad....
