not taking anything away from meade's numbers at all they are good scores but there are a lot of people out there doing the same or possibly more that just dont compete

if i had 20, 30, 40, 50, 60k...whatever he spends...EXTRA...i **** well wouldn't be spending it on car stereo alone.

i'd buy a nice whip, wheels, a nice audio system all the way around that got loud, and put a better down payment on a house.

steve meade = a guy with a passion for car audio as a hobby.

no different than a guy with a passion for model airplanes as a hobby.

in the general aspect of things, he's not "the best" as far as TL scores go.. people can drop 100k into SPL setups just to be "the loudest"...not my cup of tea. i want to invest in car audio to enjoy music and sound, not blow ear drums out.

sm just got popular because of his videos...if it wasnt for the videos i doubt he'd be where he is today...nothing different than chocolate rain or chris crocker.

the subs only see 15k power, one amp is for front stage, other amp is for sub stage.

incorrect.

he somehow setup the amps so that the front stage and subs were being used on both amps.

and joe did hit a 149.0 with a btl 18 w/ his saz 3k @ 46hz- sub up port back.

Its Steves tahoe...with the 26s and 4 18s, and it does around a 155 which is pretty good for a music playing system that he listens to everyday.

The Escalade, and Escalade EXT are Chickens...his family owns some casinos out there somewhere.

Steve is a good guy, people seem to love videos so he makes them

Don't believe that yall 151db you really overated maybe a 138 or something, There is no way to hit a 150db with just 2 twelves especially with that box you need a high tuned box(44)hz^ for one thing and another thing you will need is 2 more of those subs, don't believe me check out all other fi videos they have 4 18's ((Steve Meade)) just doing a little over 150 come on man just be serious....

For one thing, that box was tuned to 52 Hz. I now have a larger box, tuned to 42Hz. Second of all, why would I need 2 more? 2 more 12" subs -Might- add 5-10 Db... if that. I can show you a video of a single twelve hitting 138-140. on a termlabs 8 Oz mic. So get your facts straight before you flame someones video with redundant lies. Oh and FYI, I had it METERED.. I didnt "rate" it myself. It was metered on the dash an inch away from my windshield, on a termlabs 8 oz mic. Have a nice day.

Come on Rookie, you don't know to much about Car Audio do you..Look Do yourself a favor and Check out Steve Meades New Videos. He Now has ~8~ 18" Fi 18's and 2 15,000 watt amps and only hits a 160 and if you don't believe me ask him or watch the videos rookie ok...and as for my system very clean bass that flexes everything in and out of the car ~no rattling~ just flex and bass watch the videos Hater, I can't say to much about your system because it's below my level sorry, Holla Back Rookie
