they've been trying, and have failed with a show called "washout" I believe.

Hole in the Wall was good when it was still just a japanese entertainment show(where it originated) It's a show for pure entertainment (people don't win money), they get celebrities on the show to embarrass (something that wouldn't happen in America), and it's a lot funnier. Italy did a lame version of it, and tried using a bunch of models, the models were the only good part of that show....check youtube.
