Stereo wont turn on.

Well I just got a new stereo a pioneer deh-P780mp . I disconnected my old one out of of the wiring harness. I connected everything in place and **** stereo wont start at all. NO light or nothing. I THought maybe it was a the stereo so I removed my new stereo and put in the old one and it doesnt start either. I check the fuses and all of the are intact I have it ground to the negative battery terminal. anyways what could it be ? maybe faulty wiring harness ?

Umm...was the stereo you pulled out working prior to uninstalling it?

check radio fuse, fuse box, if you have a dmm, test the wires with a dmm to see if they're getting vlotage. sorry, iv'e been drinking so sorrry for the bad grammaar.

GOod news . There was a fuse blowned in the fuse box under the hood. I just replaced it and stereo finally turned on. On the negative side of things I just recently bought the new Young Joc cd and was inside my old stereo . Its too hot and im tired so im just gonna leave it there .

Yeah it's usually just a fuse blown in those situations. The worst is finding out its a fuse that's inline with the wire harness of the stereo. Those you never expect it to be.
