ok I'm sure the regulars have seen this name posted (or something similar) many many times, but I couldn't find anything that answered my Q. as far as amp specs and how it shows you the specs for mono, can you hook the subs together and make them run mono? I think i keep hearing something like that but then if you did run lets say a 800 watt amp on 2 subs wouldn't it still run each sub as 400watts? I'm so extremely confused in this area and I'd really like to get a nice amp for my subs, but quite frankly I have no clue what I should really be searching for...

it's a 12" kicker.... um... not quite sure what kind but i think it has a 800watt max? if that helps... but I plan on getting another 1 of those and an amp that can supply efficiant power for both... my price range... ummmm I wouldn't like to spend anymore than $400 on an amp.
