Yea but im looking for something more for SPL anyways so I figure I should just have it built for my application. Ill probably have you do it depending on pricing and whatnot. But 150 seemed like a lot when I bought the sub for 75 and it was a 10" haha.

The difference in price is not because of where it was/is made.

Yes he has the motor and that's the only thing that can be re-used. He will need a new basket, spider, US made coil, cone, surround, basket spacer, etc. All of those things cost money and then there's the time involved to do it all correctly. If he only paid $60 for the 10" he probably got it from Sundown Audio who re-coned the original 10" with most of the parts being the same (including the basket). And the original email I received and responded to had nothing about handling 2000 watts out of a single 8, which is entirely different.

off that motor 1000rms 8" is pushing it. some cooling options can be done to make that happen though...

Nick, I did pay I think 85 shipped for the sub.

SPL, the main issue is depth, id like to keep it to a minimal as this sub is going in a regular cab ranger. But you could add probably a half inch spacer onto the basket and it may be ok. What style basket are you able to use?
