Steel Toe Shoes?

so i need some steel toe shoes for work now since im going to be unloading trucks at work. i just cant stand the feel of high tops so im looking at the lows. ill only be doing trucks two days of the week , so i wont need much support on my ankles , if any at all. i know they get pretty ****ing expensive , but i dont need all the high tech-ness on my feet. i was looking at these - http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_06786321000P but theyre out of stock and the store doesnt carry them for some reason. we do have these in store and i tried them on and theyre pretty comfortable - http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_06782304000P

any other brands i should look into?

so i may pick up a plunge/base router combo for $50 nib. or the display model for less.

i bought me some doc martins. very comfy and they are high tops but i think they make em in low tops.

i wear steel toes have been for the last 7 years...i would try the tennis shoe steel toes...sketcher make some new balance makes some and a company nautlis..are all great comfy shoes...just some info for you..

i never was a fan of sketcher shoes or NB. we do carry them in store so ill check em out. i just dont want them to fall apart.

You just can't settle for less than the best when it's a shoe you will be pounding the pavement in for 8 hours or more everyday.

i unload 6 trucks (at least) per week, using a manual Pallet jack and my old *** midtop FILA F13 shoes.. bustin *** like that makes strong traps and shoulders.. I prolly shuld get some steel toes, but im a cheapass and my boss is too.. and i still have all my toes so far
