okay so i had my sytem installed in my truck and it sounds awesome...except my sub. my system is
eclipse 8445 headunit (8volt outputs)
focal 165 a1's in the front doors (amped)
memphis pr 4x6's (not amped)
memphis belle amp
jl stealthbox loaded with 10w6v2
well i understand its not going to be near as loud as some of your systems...not really feeling the earth shattering stuff anymore.
the problem is that at my prefered listening volume the sub is excurting out of the box and making alot of port noise. what could be wrong. here are some pics of settings
at the amp...sub settings across the bottom
peq settings at the deck.
nonfader up at highest (6)...if i dont have it at this setting, i dont think it puts out enough bass...but then it start overexcurting. not all music..mainly the rap.
