static through amp???

i got a 600 wat pyramid 4 channel amp, and 1 10 kenwood tornado hooked up to it...i bridged the kenwood in channels 3 and 4....i wanted to try hooking a speaker up to one channel, but all i get is static through the speaker...why is that, wut can i do bout it???? thx

you need to make muting plugs by shorting out an RCA plugs. And pluging them into ALL channel of you AMP. It the noise goes away then the AMP is GOOD if not then get rid of it! Let me know what happens when you mute it.

u want me to short out my rcs....how would i do that..and im not doing it neway, there expensive

Go to a electronic parts store and buy jacks $2-3 Then save them for troubleshooting!
