yeah, they pretty much just said its goin up just cuz its goin up, and the only thing i can do about it is take their little safe driving course

Take the safe driver course, get the good student discount and quit complaining. $1000 every 6 months is not that bad considering your only 18...

To hell with Gieco too! I called them up trying to get a lower rate. I am paying 115 bucks a month and clean driving record now. I really think it should be lower. There is a lawsuit going on in Cali about insurance companies charging people base on their zip code and not driving records. I hope it will change, to hell with these bastards.

I guess it just depends (on what, I don't know), on what co. has the best rates then. I went from almost $250/mo w/ Progressive, down to $110/mo with Geico. I did call a couple different places and they were the cheapest. Ehhh, oh well.
