State Farm FTL.

I pay 1228.50 every 6months. I'm 19, w/ a clean record. Also, I drive a **** sedan. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I guess it just depends (on what, I don't know), on what co. has the best rates then. I went from almost $250/mo w/ Progressive, down to $110/mo with Geico. I did call a couple different places and they were the cheapest. Ehhh, oh well.

Yes, it does depend. I mean I used to have a horrible driving recored a few years ago and I was paying 200 bucks a month w/ progressive. Well I ended up getting rid of that car and getting something else. Well my points were still on my dl so it didnt go down considerably, but went down to 140 a month. Well now I have a clean record. So I would think it would be cheaper than the 115 a month I am at right now. I guess I need to do some more window shopping. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

i am with state farm and have been since i was 15. i am 24 yrs old now. i have full coverage on my 02 accord ex coupe(v6), liability on my 84 silverado, and a life insurance policy. i pay like 130 and some change a month. i am married, which helps out, and will be 25 on august 4th, so my rate will go down some more. i think i have it pretty good actually. state farm ftw!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

WHAT??? Mine is outta control!!!

For some odd reason, state farm just said... "Hey! Your insurance is going to go from a little over $600 every six months... to $1000 every six months!"
What the F*CK

They just about doubled my rate! I can see my insurance being expensive, but crap man. I've been driving 2 years, and I have no tickets, no accidents, no fines or anything else that would make my rate go up. They just spontaneously did it. I see a switch in insurance companies in my near future.
Sure, why don't you call up there and find out why they did this?

Believe it or not, if you are paying a monthly premium, it is based on your credit score as well. There is interest tacked on to your premium. If you pay it all at once, usually you get huge discounts.

Edit: I just checked out that esurance.com site that was mentioned earlier by Expy...all I can say is...WOW!

I was just quoted about half of what I'm paying now for the same coverage!

Expy, how are they about handling claims? I would like some real world reviews instead of just their site.
