It's pretty beefy, but it doesn't seem like it has a big voice coil...

And I can't really say I like how the voice coils are set up.

But... ARE THOSE FUSES?!

yes. the fuses act like voice coils. dont know much about them yet tho.

i just bought the 12's.. i love em for the price.. just cant wait to throw some real power at em

and the fuses dont act "as" voice coils lol... they prevent you from overdriving the speaker with too much power.. they wont protect against thermal limits tho and they also allow you to set the impediance easier

All they protect the sub from is if something shorts out, if you give the sub more than its rms rating the fuse wont blow.
