Starting Out

I know there are a ton of these threads on here but I must say I have read most of them. I'm really into car audio and I hope to open my own shop one day. Currently I have started to sell car audio out of my house (I'm 18 and just started college). I don't really install because I **** and just don't have the time. My question is what are some low cost ways to advertise and get my business name out there? I currently have business cars and I'm going to print flyers out to place on cars at the local high schools. Also I'm going to have a forum on the website I listed before. Lastly is there a way I could have a small shop and attend college at the same time? Would this be wise? I was thinking maybe this summer I could open a small shop (lots of business parks around my college) and have a few of my friends work for me and help me out. I know it would require some money and I'm not to worried about that now, I just want to know what should I be thinking about to make sure this works out. Thanks every one, I hope this was clear enough as I'm a bit tired.

First thing you should is take some short business courses about retail and talk to a lawyer and find out what kinds of things you should have to protect you from the customer. You will need a business license. Find somebody that does web design to make you a page and start selling on the net. I' dhave to think alittle bit more, but this is all I could think of in a few seconds.

Thanks. About selling online most of the companies I have accounts with and others say that you are not allowed to sell online.
