Well I'm starting at a new shop pretty soon and I need to figure out what direction I want to go with my system.
I basically need EVERYTHING except a box and headunit. The install will be going in a 94 Camaro, and I already have a box for a single 15 that is ported low. Don't really want to swap boxes because this is a custom fiberglass job with matching vinyl. I want to use my existing Alpine 9855 as well, but may switch to an Eclipse later on.
The shop sells Memphis, Arc, Polk, Clarion, and Eclipse mainly. I can get my hands on about anything, though.
Overall I can get all of this stuff pretty cheap.
As of now I have a 1200d (600@2, 1200@1) and a 4004 (50x4@4) to work with. I will probably be switching to new amps to match the rest of the stuff but for now this is what I have.
My thinking was a nice set of 6.5 components in front off of the 4004, probably Arcs or M class, then a set of coaxials in the sail panels off of deck power. I'm still not set on a 15 for the hatch, maybe a MOJO but I want good SQ with quite a bit of loudness. I think the MOJO would settle my loudness needs but I don't know what they do for SQ.
