one rebound and 2 soft goals plus he had 27 saves...osgood had only 20 saves and wings defense made it hard for pens to score...yet they scored 2 times

Ozzie was one of the best goalies this year. After you lead the league in GAA in the regular season AND the playoffs and have a 1.5 GAA against the PITTSBURGH PENGINS, you shed the "worst goalie to win a stanley cup".

It's at least the worst to win THREE stanley cups.

NOPE !! Osgood was better in game 4 and game 6. Ozzie was great tonight. He may not have made any of the miraculous saves but he didn' t allow any soft goals or knock one into his own net.

Not to mention PITT cannot score without a man advantage and they still struggle with that. They failed on a couple HUGE 2 man advantage power plays this series in which Ozzie made some good saves and Zetterberg is just lights out on the penalty kill.

Just because a goalie doesn't make a million saves doesn't mean he's not good. Detroit dominates puck possession so Ozzie isn't going to see a ton of shots, that doesn't make him inferior, it just makes him less busy.
