Alright I have a 98 standard cab s-10 and i have no idea what would fit back there...not much huh.

i want 12 or possibly a 15 if it can fit.

I need help on brands of subs and measurments of bix size..i would like to go ported but doesnt matter..would like to spend around 800$ for everything and dont want a blow through.

Another thing i dont understand is for example: 1.2^3 @40Hz

whats the ^3 mean and stuff.

Im new to the whole thing so help me out please.

i've got a 03 S10 and fit 1 12" behind the passenger seat. right now i have 1 L7 10" ported.....let me know if i can help...

there is no way you are gonna fit a 15 with out a blow thru

shallow mount subs. look on ebay. as much as i don't like the brand, i heard some kole audio shallow mounts a few weeks back that actually sounded good. i was surprised and a little impressed.

^3 refers to cubic feet. Like a box that is 12" by 12" by 12" takes up 1^3 (cubic foot) of air. As for as fitting a 15 into your Dime, good luck man. I tried to get a 15 in my truck (reg cab f150) and failed. I even sacrificed a lot of leg room but couldn't do it. 12 should be fairly easy though. Good luck man....

so for a 12 what would be a good sized box for it to reach down and grab the lows and stuff i want maby 60 sq and 40 spl

.66 ft^3... so that means that its what .66 cubed feet right? so thats like what 7 inches or somthin around there..im horrible at math as you can tell.

as far as the name on the sub, i'd feel more comfortable with these^^

never heard any shallow mount other than those kole's. if i had a single cab, i'd throw 2 12's in. under 4 inches of mounting depth will at least keep you off the dash. maybe someone else has heard the other brands of shallow mounts.

i wanted to do somthing like this with (2) 12's and have it fan out at the bottom kind of...Is there anyone located near Mass who can build me a decent box at a reasonable price?

i have 2 12'' premier shallow mounts and i love those subs for the size. they are really impressive i went to a comp this weekend and they hit a 137.7. check out my box that we built for my s10 as well as some other reg cab boxes on here.
