ssd12 what amp, better options?

Im pretty new here so I dont have much knowledge with car audio.. I have a 01 camaro with a alpine pdx 4-150 amp type r coaxial in rear and im getting some focal's from a friend for the front.. After looking around I think I want to go with 2 12's fi ssd12... heres my dilema, I want to stick with a box meant for the t-top area and im not sure if the one I have now is enough cubic area for that sub.. The box I have is like the one in the picture but stops where it steps down.. will the box I have now be good enough or should I buy the one in the link... also if you guys have a better reccomendation for my car let me know my budget is about 750 including the amp..

If the box you have does not have the step down I would either look into a different sub or just go with that box in the link. The sub's will do allright in that box. An amp that does roughly 1800rms@ 1ohm will push the ssd's nicely. Go with the dual 1 voicecoils so the amp will see a 1 ohm load.

alright im going to ditch the box I have now and get the one in the link, it seems to be my best bet for that style enclosure.. also if theres a better option for sub im open to anything, also what amp do you guys recomend?

ive acutaully owned both the MB and the AQ.Aq was definitly stronger without a doubt and you cant go wrong the customer service from AQ.350 shipped on the AQ
