I've owned both Fi and AQ. The only think about the Fi Q that I had is that it did not hit a wide range of notes. It would destroy lows but would sound like *** on higher notes. That is where your tuning comes in.

I had many fi products and they did great in sound quality and spl

#1. the q was designed for very low response.

#2. When you build a larger enclosure, it emphasizes the bottom end.

the ssd does have better output at higher sub bass frequencies.
