SSA G-con

Has anyone tested the SSA G-Con series yet? I am in the process of purchasing a new system and I am looking between the SA-15 or the G-con 15. I am looking for loudness but I would like it to sound good. I also want to stay in between 600-750 watts rms per sub.

Either one is a huge boner around here so don't look for very logical answers on which one you should choose... Either one will make you happy in the proper enclosure however...

So should I probably just go for whichever I can find the best deal on? Also on a side not I'm cramming this into my Ford ranger ext cab. I plan on my box taking up the majority of the back space in my cab, 2 15s is my initial goal.

Ya either one is a good budget sub... You will need at least a good 8 cubic feet to work with...

I believe I have around 10 ft cubed to fit a box and be able to sit comfortably so I Should be good.

Being that the prices are generally close, I'd look for the best deal you can grab. However, in this particular one, Sundown gets my vote on just one reason - their durability. It's amazing what some people have put them through and they still bang. There are even a few abuse videos up on YouTube. Performance wise, I'm going to go with Bettr; both subwoofers will probably be able to satisfy your bassy needs in the right enclosure. There are many designers on the forum who are really good at what they do - and can get you a great design going.

The SA and Gcon are somewhat different sub woofers, figuring out your goals first will help with the decision. The SSA Gcon is just now getting out to the first customers. Reviews and views I am sure will come soon.
