Got 2 SSA Gcons 12's and since I cant find anybody to build a box for me I guess im gonna try taking on the task myself.. I have read people say that they love these subs in a sealed enclosure and obviously that would be easier to build. However, before these I had a Fi q 15 in a 3.15 cube ported enclosure tuned at 34.5 hz. I just dont want to be disappointed with the output of these Gcons after having that setup.

Will I disappointing in the output if I go sealed on the Gcons? I want to make a big box as I have the room for it and loudness is my main goal. If anyone has any experience with these subs please comment on box recommendations.

Also, is it worth it to go my local audio shop and just have them make a ported enclosure? Will they know wtf they are doing with these subs? lol
