Hi im thinking about getting one 12" rl-p, and just wondering if a phoenix gold xenon 400.1 will be enough to power one 12 rl-p, because i can get one really cheap on ebay.

i would suggest the 600.1 if it was me... would definately be a better choice

it will work, I have seen some people reporting around 500 watts from the PG,

 

but if you can consider going up in power

how does a 15 in 3.5 cu ft tuned to 24hz sound?

24 tune is a bit low for in-car use IMO. Mike and I had several email convos regarding a ported box for my RL-p 15 (wanted to go ported at the time). We came up with the ideal enclosure and tuning of 2.8 cu ft tuned to 28 hz. It gave a relatively flat response.

Well it all comes down to what you accustomed (spelling) 2. I had mine running off 400rms in a 2^cuft enclosure @ 28hz. It was plenty enough for my liking. It all depends on what your after.

BTW: I have a MINT RLP 12" for sale it's dual 4ohm. Check the classifieds

Where can i get a box design, for 2.8 cu ft tuned to 28? I plan on building it myself.
