SS Orphan 8?

Has anyone actually ran these? What's the verdict? Are they comparable to the rl-i? Also, does anyone know recommended box sizes? linky
ive never ran them but i was thinking about it and asked around.i was told that there ok but not very efficient.ive still considered them at the price tho, hell you may even get a discount if you bought many.

That's the requirement if you want low frequency performance in a small box.
Yep. A high efficiency speaker in a small sealed box means you'll end up with a tin-can sounding subwoofer (i.e. no bottom end). //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I think Mike of SoundSplinter mentioned approx box sizes. IIRC it was pretty much as small as you can make it for sealed enclosures as a starting point. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

That is EXACTLY what i'm looking for. Any idea how they would sound ported, as well as box sizes?

I have not tested to help out in that area. I would suggest heading over to the SoundSplinter Forum and ask there. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
